Maintaining natural stone

During its manufacture, each item is waterproofed with a food-safe product. The finish is polished and matte. As with all natural materials (solid wood, for example), be careful with acidic products (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.) which can cause long-term stains if not removed quickly.
