The Anna double basin in Calacatta marble brings together two bowls cut from a single block of natural stone. TALKA is one of very few makers to offer basins in solid marble.
Calacatta marble has a white ground crossed by grey and gold veining. Its straight lines and rounded edges give it a clean geometry. Across a wide top, the veining runs from one bowl to the other. Each block is selected for its veining, then sealed with our food-safe sealant : a finish made for intensive daily use. A dense, hard-wearing stone, marble develops a patina over time and stays unique from block to block: variations in tone and veining are part of the material.

What is TALKA marble ?
Marble is a noble natural stone, used since Antiquity for its beauty and durability. Its veining, tones and depth make it a living material.
At TALKA, we select each block to ensure consistent veining, rich colour and flawless quality. The stone is then worked to reveal its natural patterns and achieve a smooth, matte and slightly velvety finish. Every piece is finally treated with a food-safe protection, perfect for everyday use.
As a natural stone, every TALKA piece is unique, variations in tone and veining from one block to another are part of its very essence.
Each sink is sealed with a food-safe approved waterproofing product. Like all natural materials (such as solid wood), care should be taken with acidic products (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.), which may cause staining over time if not cleaned promptly.
To clean your marble sink, use a mild soap (such as Marseille soap) and a damp cloth. We recommend the products from the Act of Caring brand, available on our website: the wax, the spray, or the complete wax & spray kit for optimal care of your furniture.
