What Is Calacatta Verde Marble ?

Calacatta Verde Marble is a rare natural stone, distinguished by its deep green background accented with gold and white veining. Rarer than classic white Calacatta marble, a piece of furniture made from Calacatta Verde marble brings a refined, high-end presence and a truly distinctive visual signature to any interior.

The Quality of Our Stone

The quality of Calacatta Verde marble can vary significantly from one block to another. At TALKA, we carefully select each slab for the consistency of its veining and the depth of its color, allowing us to control the final aesthetic all the way through production.

Our Calacatta Verde marble is crafted to highlight the richness of its green and gold veining, with a soft matte finish. Each piece is then treated with our food-safe approved sealant.

Each piece is sealed with a food-safe approved waterproofing product. Like all natural materials (such as solid wood), care should be taken with acidic products (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.), which may cause staining over time if not cleaned promptly.

To clean your travertine piece, use a mild soap (such as Marseille soap) and a damp cloth. We recommend the products from the Act of Caring brand, available on our website: the wax, the spray, or the complete wax & spray kit for optimal care of your furniture.

Delivery in Île-de-France

• White-glove delivery by the TALKA team to your floor and room of choice, including for dining tables.
• Delivery appointment scheduled by phone. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Alternative time slots available upon request.

• Delivery handled by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture. Curbside delivery only.

Delivery to Switzerland

• When a Swiss address is entered in the cart, French VAT is automatically deducted: the displayed price becomes tax-exclusive.
• Upon delivery, Swiss VAT payment as well as any applicable customs duties and clearance fees will be the customer's responsibility.
• Delivery completed in 2–3 weeks by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture, curbside delivery.

See a TALKA dining table in Paris ?

Our Maja dining table model (180x90cm) in Beige travertine is on display at the Toulemonde Bochart showroom in the 2nd arrondissement in Paris.
