Travertine: the new marble!

Each TALKA travertine piece of furniture is the assurance of high-end decoration. Travertine is a noble natural limestone like its cousin marble. It is common to find a marble console in luxury apartments, now we have to count on travertine consoles! Having a travertine console rather than a marble effect console will bring a real cachet to the decoration. We are also very demanding in the choice of our stone. We regularly visit our partners in Turkey to select the best possible quality . Indeed, travertine is the specialty of our brand. We already find a lot of it in the South of France for tiles or swimming pools for example. This material is now making a comeback in interiors, it is particularly appreciated by the architects with whom we work hand in hand. The Beige TALKA travertine has a light beige tint and sublime characteristic marbling ranging from cream to brown. Its neutral color is a major asset for creating a soothing atmosphere. This stone, used since Antiquity, allows you to create a natural and refined decoration .

A designer and versatile console

The Constance, Liv, and Hélios designer console tables are ideal entryway furniture. Our travertine console tables can also be placed in a hallway or narrow passageway. Finally, our console tables can also be a focal point in the living room, for example, by installing them between two windows. Either way, our console tables will add the perfect designer touch to your home. Constance is the ultimate luxury console table !

How to maintain travertine?

Please note that each TALKA travertine table is treated with a food-safe waterproofing agent. To clean it, we recommend simply using water (using a damp cloth, for example) and mild soap (such as black soap or Marseille soap). It is important not to use acidic products such as alcohol, lemon, or vinegar. Acidity can damage any natural material such as travertine, but also marble or wood!
