Travertine recognized as the new marble
You often ask us if travertine and marble are the same natural stones . They are two very distinct , high-end natural stones . You will recognize marble by its marbling, usually in cool tones like gray marble or black marble. Travertine , on the other hand, has warmer hues ranging from cream to brown.
We select our natural stones with the highest standards because there are several levels of stone quality. We also pay particular attention to the treatment of our natural stones , which makes TALKA furniture a benchmark in terms of quality and durability .

Accessorize your living room or bedroom with a natural stone side table
The side table has become an essential element in a living room or bedroom. Both chic and raw due to the beauty of the natural stone , it can be positioned at the end of a sofa with a lamp on it, as a bedside table to place your books and precious objects or simply as a small coffee table . Our Beige travertine cubes or our Rosé travertine cubes are generally the most used for your sofa ends. Our Paola Beige travertine side table , for its soft and warm side, or in alabaster , for a high-end effect, are also perfect choices if you are looking for a natural stone side table . It also works very well as a pedestal table .
TALKA Travertine Treatment
There are many ways to treat travertine side tables . Raw travertine is naturally porous and therefore more susceptible to stains penetrating it. We therefore fill the pores of the stone to make it more suitable for everyday life. Finally, having a non-porous travertine allows for a waterproofing treatment . However, do not apply acidic products such as alcohol or vinegar and clean the travertine with a damp cloth and possibly a mild soap.
