To care for your TALKA travertine or marble table, we recommend the Act of Caring brand cleaning spray and protective wax.
Use Act of Caring cleaning spray to regularly maintain your TALKA natural stone table. Apply it with a microfiber cloth. Act of Caring cleaning spray has a natural pH level so it won't damage your TALKA natural stone furniture. It cleans the pores of the stone and leaves a protective film.
Protective wax helps maintain the protection of natural stone over time. Clean the surface with the cleaning spray before applying the wax using the provided sponge in circular motions. For better protection, during the first application, let the wax sit for several hours then wipe off the excess material with a microfiber cloth.
The products can be used for up to 48 months after opening or even longer.
Act of Caring products are made with natural ingredients (vegan formulas) and are non-toxic. There's no need to use gloves or other protective gear when applying wax or spray!
The products contain essential oils of sandalwood, pine, patchouli and tea tree and therefore give off a pleasant scent upon application, which will dissipate afterwards.
The use of Act of Caring products combined with TALKA's specific protection offers high resistance to food stains, including red wine, for both travertine and TALKA marble. Act of Caring products are tested and approved by TALKA on its natural stones.
We still advise you to clean acid stains immediately to avoid damaging the water-repellent layer and thus ensure the best possible protection of your TALKA natural stone table.
