Round coffee table in Beige Travertine Ø 100 cm

The Perla Ø 100 cm round coffee table is composed of three solid beige travertine spheres supporting a circular top in the same material. Unlike conventional flat tops, this one features a subtly raised edge along its entire perimeter. This detail emphasizes the table’s circumference and creates a “presentation tray” effect, highlighting the objects placed on it.

Each table is crafted from natural stone, with variations inherent to every block of travertine.

The Ø 100 cm format is suited to more compact spaces or can be used in combination with other pieces. The Perla table is also available in Ø 120 cm in Beige Travertine and Rosso Levanto marble.

Assembly

The tabletop is simply placed on the three spheres. Their positioning is flexible and can be adjusted during installation.

The table is supplied with protective pads to be positioned in two ways :

  • Under the spheres, to protect the floor and allow the table to be moved
  • Between the spheres and the tabletop, to protect the travertine surface and ensure stable contact between the two elements

What is travertine ?

Travertine is a natural stone that has been used since Antiquity, valued for its durability over time. It is naturally water-resistant and comes in several tones. At TALKA, we work with beige and pink travertine. Popular in the 1970s, travertine is now firmly back at the forefront of interior design.

TALKA travertine quality

The quality of the natural stone we offer is at the heart of everything we do. This means :

  • Stone selection : The quality of natural stone can vary enormously. We select travertine with low porosity and consistent veining. Sourcing our stone is the foundation of everything we make, and we approach it with care.
  • Stone treatment : At TALKA, there are many steps between raw stone and the finished piece. The travertine is worked to bring out its veining and golden-blonde colour. We then achieve a smooth surface with sealed pores (essential for daily use) followed by a matte, near-velvety polish. Finally, we apply a food-safe sealant you won't find anywhere else.

Travertine is a natural material, so every piece is unique : variations in tone and veining from one piece to another are to be expected. The pores are filled with resin, though some surface texture may remain, particularly on edges, which preserves the raw, natural character of the stone.

Each piece is sealed with a food-safe approved waterproofing product. Like all natural materials (such as solid wood), care should be taken with acidic products (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.), which may cause staining over time if not cleaned promptly.

To clean your travertine piece, use a mild soap (such as Marseille soap) and a damp cloth. We recommend the products from the Act of Caring brand, available on our website: the wax, the spray, or the complete wax & spray kit for optimal care of your furniture.

Delivery in Île-de-France

  • White-glove delivery by the TALKA team to your floor and room of choice, including for dining tables.
  • Delivery appointment scheduled by phone. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Alternative time slots available upon request.

Delivery outside Île-de-France

  • Delivery handled by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture. Curbside delivery only.
  • Delivery appointment scheduled by phone to arrange a delivery date and time.

Delivery to Switzerland

  • When a Swiss address is entered in the cart, French VAT is automatically deducted: the displayed price becomes tax-exclusive.
  • Upon delivery, Swiss VAT payment as well as any applicable customs duties and clearance fees will be the customer's responsibility.
  • Delivery completed in 2-3 weeks by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture, curbside delivery.
