A sample true to the final product

Every TALKA sample is treated with the same care as our furniture. The stone is polished, the pores are sealed, and a food-safe sealant is applied as a matte finish. What you hold in your hands is exactly what you will find on your table, console or desk.

Place the sample on your floor, against your wall, on your fabric. Observe it in natural light in the morning, in artificial light in the evening. Natural stone lives with light : that is its character, and that is what the sample allows you to verify before any commitment.

Choose from our 6 varieties :

  • Beige Travertine: warm tones, golden beige, subtle veining.
  • Pink Travertine: powdery rose, soft and luminous.
  • Silver Travertine: the new neutral of 2026.
  • Rosso Levanto Marble: deep red with white veins.
  • Calacatta Marble: a white background crossed by veins ranging from gold to black, and sometimes violet.
  • Calacatta Verde Marble: intense green veins, sometimes mixed with golden and grey undertones.

TALKA stone quality

The quality of the natural stone we select is at the heart of everything we make. This means choosing stones with consistent veining and low porosity : stones that will age well and hold up to daily use. Between raw stone and finished piece, every surface is worked to bring out the stone's natural colour and pattern, sealed to close the pores, then finished with a matte, near-velvety polish. A food-safe sealant is applied as a final step.

Each piece is sealed with a food-safe approved waterproofing product. Like all natural materials (such as solid wood), care should be taken with acidic products (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.), which may cause staining over time if not cleaned promptly.

To clean your TALKA piece, use a mild soap (such as Marseille soap) and a damp cloth. We recommend the products from the Act of Caring brand, available on our website: the wax, the spray, or the complete wax & spray kit for optimal care of your furniture.

Delivery in Île-de-France

  • White-glove delivery by the TALKA team to your floor and room of choice, including for dining tables.
  • Delivery appointment scheduled by phone. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Alternative time slots available upon request.

Delivery outside Île-de-France

  • Delivery handled by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture. Curbside delivery only.
  • Delivery appointment scheduled by phone to arrange a delivery date and time.

Delivery to Switzerland

  • When a Swiss address is entered in the cart, French VAT is automatically deducted: the displayed price becomes tax-exclusive.
  • Upon delivery, Swiss VAT payment as well as any applicable customs duties and clearance fees will be the customer's responsibility.
  • Delivery completed in 2-3 weeks by a specialist carrier for bulky furniture, curbside delivery.

See a TALKA dining table in Paris ?

Our Maja dining table model (180x90cm) in Beige travertine is on display at the Toulemonde Bochart showroom in the 2nd arrondissement in Paris.
