Dining table by Romain Costa

Romain Costa's dining table was born from a discussion between Célia and Thomas of TALKA, and Romain was asked to create a travertine table for his apartment. Romain then designed the lines of this characterful piece, whose uniqueness lies in the elliptical shape of both the legs and the top.

The elliptical top measures 75x170x105cm and is 3cm thick. The beveled edges give an impression of finesse and lightness to the natural stone. The elliptical cylinder-shaped legs echo the top. They are each made from a hollowed-out block of travertine. It is a truly exceptional object! It is designed for 6 people and is suitable for a dining room or a meeting room, for example.

Travertine is a noble material, like marble, that brings instant character to your interior. Its light, neutral tones allow it to blend in with the other colors in your dining room.

Romain Costa is a DESL architect from Lille. Now based in Paris, he co-founded Costa Molinos, a practice that combines interior architecture, design, scenography, and art direction. He also creates content for his social media following of several thousand people: a good way for him to balance the rigor of the architectural profession with his passions.

Assembly

The tabletop rests on legs. This travertine table is sold with pads to be positioned:

• Under the feet, to protect the floor and allow the furniture to slide.
• Between the top and the legs, in order to protect the top and to finalize the adhesion between it and the legs.
