What is Calacatta Marble ?
Calacatta marble is a natural stone characterized by a white background streaked with veins ranging from gold to black, and sometimes even violet. Calacatta marble can be used for designer furniture (as we do at TALKA) as well as for flooring and surface cladding. Its elegance and long-lasting durability make it a trendy choice for high-end renovation and construction projects.

Calacatta marble is a natural material, so each piece of furniture is unique. Variations in color and veining will occur from one item to another, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Each coffee table is waterproofed with a food-safe product. Like all natural materials (such as solid wood, for example), care should be taken with acidic substances (alcohol, vinegar, lemon, red wine, etc.), which may cause stains over time if not cleaned promptly.
To clean your Calacatta marble table, use a mild soap (such as Marseille soap) and a damp cloth. We recommend products from the brand Act of Caring, available on our e-shop: wax, spray, or the complete wax & spray kit for optimal furniture care.

Delivery is handled by the TALKA team, directly to your floor and into the room of your choice, including for dining tables.
Use of a freight elevator is mandatory only if the layout of the premises allows it.
Delivery appointments are scheduled by phone.
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Other time slots may be available upon request.
In the event of a return, shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery is made to the doorstep (at the foot of the building or house).

When a Swiss address is entered at checkout, French VAT is automatically deducted and prices are displayed excluding VAT.
Upon delivery, Swiss VAT, as well as any customs duties and clearance fees, are the responsibility of the customer.
